Freightender CEO Pieter Kinds in panel TPM21 by JOC

Freightender CEO Pieter Kinds will join the TPM21 panel on the 25th of February. He will be speaking about using a data-based approach to Freight Procurement and Allocation.

Rate benchmarking and freight procurement data

As many people in the logistics industry are aware, the data exists for shippers, carriers and intermediaries to be more precise in determining when they need and have space on a container ship.

During the session, which can be attended only online this year, Pieter along with Patrik Berglund and Jonas Krumland will examine how rate benchmarking and freight tendering might help shippers with their allocations.

All sessions will take place in the Eastern time zone.

What is TPM21 all about?

TPM is a very popular conference in the industry for the trans-Pacific and global container shipping and logistics community. This year’s theme is “Redefining the Future”.

The reasons for the event, especially in 2021, are both strategic and tactical. Strategically, how much and how quickly the world has changed since the onset of covid-19 can’t be understated. The impact on logistics and supply chains is sweeping and the future looks very different from how it looked a year ago. That is why the theme for TPM21 is “Redefining the Future”.

Over the course of 70 sessions, explore in-depth how the future will be different and how professionals in logistics can be prepared.
